…went shopping for hats (among other things).
…found the world’s sexiest potholder.
…consumed Kaffee und Kuchen, little old lady style.
…saw the cutest train station in the world.
…and ran off to join the “Wu Wutang Clean”. I hope there’s no scrubbing involved in the initiation ceremony.
Oh yeah, and some of us even appeared on Bavarian television. Quite the exciting day.
*sigh* I'd like to have a Bienenstich from Schuler right now…

oh isn't Benidiktbeuern cute? The giant monastery there has a great biergarten. My BIL lives in the neighboring dorf. We love visiting him down there!
The DAV alpine hut you can hike to there is really nice too.

What was up with those potholders? German Cake Eating always makes me smile – it seems to be obligatory sometimes. Tough when you don't like cake! But very nice for those who do.
Duckie – I don't like German cake that much, either (not enough gooey, dark chocolate involved for my tastes), but every once in a while I'm in the mood for it. 🙂
