In the future, please remember to turn off your alarm clocks before leaving on vacation. Especially your high-pitched, annoying, beep-beep-beep-beep alarms. Like the one that I’ve been hearing since this morning.
Thanks in advance,

ouch!
That really sucks… I’ve stayed in two hotels in a row where the previous occupant had turned on the TV alarm to go off… the first one was the 5am alarm, the second was more reasonable, but still annoying, going off at 7:52.
How annoying. I had a roommate who used to push snooze on her alarm for an hour and a half — AN HOUR AND A HALF! I had to listen to that beeping every 7 minutes when I didn’t have a class until 3 hours later.
I cannot imagine having to hear that stuff for a whole day.
Adam – Seriously, why don’t hotels check for that kind of thing between guests? At least the fancy ones should. Once I even had the opposite problem – the previous guest had turned off the ringer on the phone, so I didn’t hear the wake-up call, and missed the morning session of the conference I was at. Grrr.
SIMH – Yikes, what a crappy roommate! There would be hell to pay for making me miss precious early-morning sleep. (luckily this neighbor’s alarm is not audible from our bedroom. That would suuuuuck!)
Leave your alarm on when you leave for Norway.
Revenge is sweet!
TBF – I considered it, but alas I am too much of a pansy to actually do such a thing. Sadly.
