So the million dollar question is, does she have an evil twin sister called “Malignant Girl”? That would make for a good match-up!
After playing with the German <-> English dictionary I have my guess at an explanation.
“Freundlich” is a flattering adjective in German that can be used to describe “nice” people. Of course there is no perfect translation, so options include: friendly gregarious, suave and benign.
Mix in the fact the using English is “hip” and you end up with a botched translation (like I make all of the time).
